About this site…

Having a child with a serious illness is one of the most difficult life situations anyone can imagine. Yet many of us live or have lived with this on a daily basis. My son was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 3 years old (he’s fine today). It is the last thing we ever thought would happen to us, and the shock left us wondering if we would survive. But this event took us on a journey filled with tears, joys, angels and miracles along the way.

Throughout my journey, we met many parents and family members who were dealing with similar situations. Each had a unique story of hope, strength, and courage that helped us to manage without loosing our minds and even find some joy and laughter along the way. My hope is that sharing my experience will help others to get through the tough times, even when it seems like you can’t manage for one more minute.

This site is also available to other parents and family members to share their stories; offering an opportunity to help others and release some of the stress. As a parent who has survived the serious illness of a child, I know talking about the illness and the resulting challenges can be difficult. I encourage you to share your strength and hope as it relates to your experience.
